Personal Victory
Went to Chili's last night for my brothers birthday dinner. It was probably the hardest time I've had yet with this diet. I'm kind of proud out myself for the restraint.

Observations
I think I'm going to have to avoid restaurants or at least going to restaurants with people that are going to order food that will be tempting. I'm sure it will get easier but for now I'm having a hard time with it.
 
So, Ive named my dog Ninja. He has a black coat, he tends to silently stalk people, plus he knows Ninjitsu so it seems like a good fit.

Went for only the small popcorn at the movies tonight (it was pretty tiny)
Had the mixed vegetables with my Swiss Chalet instead of the french fries. I love those fries.

Observations
Knowing I was going t0 the movies tonight I had decided ahead of time to get the small popcorn. I find I binge when its unplanned and have a moment of weakness. Better to be a little bad than a lot.
 
Well. I gained 5lbs of new puppy yesterday. My wife finally talked me into buying a puppy. So I'm now a proud owner of a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) named Ninja. I did miss a workout to go buy him but I'm sure the walks will make up for it.

Really wasn't feeling up for going to the gym today. That, and I have a new dog. I already felt guilty for missing my workout yesterday so I ended up going. It was tough but I'm glad I went.

Observations
 
Stayed up way too late playing video games once again last night. From what i have read proper sleep goes a long way with weight loss. I'm going to have to try to get more sleep going forward.

Observations
 
A little better than last week. I'm down another 1 1/2 lbs so the scale is once again going in the right direction. Looks like its going to be more of a marathon rather than a sprint. I guess it doesn't matter as long as I make it to the finish line.

Still felt very overweight today at the MMA expo. It just fuels the fire to keep going.

 
Its World Cup time and I think I should start doing some other sports in addition to martial arts to change things up a bit. I've been recently invited to play some tennis. I may just take the offer up.

My whole team at work today went to McDonald's. I didn't but man diets suck.
Went to the drive -in tonight and tripped up a little by buying a medium popcorn. I ate about 1/3 of it and started to feel guilty. I closed up the bag and stopped eating it right there and then. I don't think I have ever done that.
