really didn't feel like training today but ended up doing 2hours.

Observations
 
I have to say I was a little worried about the wiegh-in this week with the concert and the rib-fest but the results were better than expected with a weight-loss of 1 1/2 pounds.

Observations
 
Went to a Martial arts seminar taught by my old instructor. It was a long day but the pace wasn't too killer. Got a good workout though.

So I had my brother in-law and his wife over to visit from Montreal and they wanted to go to Ribfest. This was a true test of will.

So I once again the game-plan saved me. I only had the pulled pork sandwich and resisted all the fried "fair-type" foods. I knew what I was going to order before I got there.

Observations
Once again preparation was key for an event like this. If I went in thinking to resist everything I probably would have eaten a lot worse.
 
So I had a Birthday BBQ for my mom's 65th. It was hard to resist the cake but at least I was more in control of what was being served at my house.

Great week this week. Down 2 1/2 pounds. I don't expect next week to be as good as I'm taking off a couple of days of training to let my body recover. Very happy though.
